WHY MUST I SUPPLY A LOCATION NUMBER FOR THE CALLBACK TO
WORK?
Fraud is a big problem so your callback number - even at a hotel - is one level of additional security for you and for the international callback company.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE LOCATION NUMBERS IF I MOVE AROUND THE COUNTRY?
Yes. You can have multiple locations where you use callback.
WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW THE NUMBER I WILL BE CALLING FROM, HOW DO I 'PROGRAM' IT INTO THE INTERNATIONAL CALLBACK SYSTEM?
There are two ways to set pre-approved callback numbers. 1) Establish the numbers before you leave the US programming into your approved list of callback location numbers. 2) You can make a call from overseas, and program your account to accept a new number, such as a payphone, a clients office or hotel.
WHAT ABOUT CALLING CARDS ARE THEY A COST EFFECTIVE
OPTION?
In almost all cases international callback is more cost effective than calling cards. You can check our
calling card options.
ARE THERE BIG DIFFERENCES IN SERVICE AND SOUND QUALITY BETWEEN ALL THE CALLBACK COMPANIES?
All of the major international callback carriers uses fiber optic lines. Generally when there is a 'sound quality' problem, it almost always a problem with the carrier lines in the country you are calling from and not with the US dial tone.
